The Condominium Act is to be amended. To this end, the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection wanted to present a draft law by the end of 2019. On 13.01.2020 the draft bill was published and sent to numerous associations for comments. The draft law contains the following essential changes:
- Renovation and modernisation are to be simplified
- The Community is to become the managing body
- More powers should be given to administrators
- Owners' meetings and resolutions should be simplified
- some more
The real estate associations now have time to comment on the draft law.
